Lots of Long-storing Inchelium Red Garlic for sale Sat. October 5th.

Tomorrow we'll have lots of Inchelium Red Garlic to sell. This is a sweet and milder garlic that is very versatile. It is delicious raw on crackers, in hummus, guacamole and on salads of every kind. It also is good in all types of cooking and is a classic roasting garlic that tastes smooth and sweet.
Originally found on the Colville Indian Reservation in Washington State, it is now grown widely by small growers around the country. When we buy seed stock from other farms it typically has a red blush on the outer papers- hence the name. Grown at our farm it turns out mostly white.
It is the best tasting softneck garlic that we have tried here at WeeBee Farms and is our second best seller (Chesnok Red is first). This garlic stores until January, and can even store to Spring in a cool place in a paper bag. Some customers store it in the fridge in the vegetable bin inside a paper bag with good luck.
